Our most popular tool is Generative Video on Gen-3 Alpha, an all-in-one
Text/Image/Video to Video model, but we provide a complete in-house creative
suite to make any content you can dream of.
To create a Runway account, head to the sign up page.
- Enter the email address that you’d like to register your account under.
- Select a username. Please note that the username you select cannot be
changed later and cannot use any special characters, so choose carefully! - Select a password of at least 6 characters. If the password you choose is too
weak, you’ll need to try to strengthen it with additional numbers, characters,
and symbols.
Learning the Runway dashboard
Once you’ve created an account, the Dashboard serves as your home base for
quick access to Runway’s entire creative suite, asset storage, and more.
Home
Home is the landing page for your account and how you’ll access all of Runway’s
most popular tools. You can navigate to the tool of your choice here, or search for
it directly using the search bar at the top of your screen.
Additionally, any tool can be pinned by using the star icon for quick access
from the homepage.
Keep scrolling to see a selection of Tutorials and Discover and Remix
submissions with reusable prompts.
Workspace and Account Navigation
-Manage Workspace-related settings with the user icon in the top left corner.
-Manage your personal account-related details with the user icon in the top right
corner.
Runway Watch
All films on Runway Watch are made and submitted entirely by Runway
creators — if you need inspiration or just some creative food for thought, hop into
Runway Watch and preview the different channels of content.
Library
Library is where you’ll access, organize, share, and manage generated content,
Custom Elements, Video Editor Projects, and more.
Assets
The Assets tab contains everything you generate and upload to Runway. While
most of your generations will be sorted automatically, you’re also able to sort
content and create folders to your personal liking.
Workspace Assets
Any assets shared with a Workspace can be found here.
Favorite Assets
Assets favorited by clicking the heart icon can be found here. We
recommend favoriting your favorite generated assets to locate them with ease.
Custom Elements
Here, you can train a Custom Character, Custom Style, or Custom Object with
15-30 input images. Review our Introduction to AI Training documentation for
more details.
Video Editor Projects
Runway’s Video Editor Projects allow you to combine multiple video clips to
create, edit, and export a longer video project. In this space, you can create and
access your Video Editor Projects.
Shared Projects
This is where you will find any Video Editor Projects that users outside your
Workspace have shared with you.
Teamspaces (Enterprise Only)
Use Teamspaces to access, move, and share projects and assets associated
with a specific team in an Enterprise account which is for large teams and
organizations that need a custom, secure, and robust flexibility at scale.

Runway Standard is currently $12/mo billed annually as $144 which includes
625 credits/mo. (Note: a credit = 1 second of video. Gen-3 Alpha burns through
this quickly to create only six 10 second videos/ mo. You can, however buy more
credits as needed). It has unlimited video editor projects and 100GB of storage.
Runway Pro is currently $28/mo billed annually as $336 which includes 2250
credits/mo. You can buy more as needed. It has all the Standard Plan features,
plus custom voices for Lip Sync, Text-to-Speech and 500GB of storage. Runway Unlimited is currently $76/mo billed annually as $912 which includes 2250 credits/mo. You can buy more as needed. It has all the Pro features, plus you get unlimited generations of Gen-1, Gen-2, Gen-3 Alpha, Gen-3 Alpha Turbo, and Act-One.
